The graph below represents the heating power of the Safecare infrared panels.

It should be taken into account that the heating power depends on a wide variety of bills. Among them are the height at which the panel is installed, the environment (interior, exterior, closed/open, air currents, wind), weather, installation angle, current fluctuations, etc.
Safecare Infrared Radiant Heating Panels can be mounted both on the ceiling and on the side walls of the room.

How do we calculate the electrical energy used?
To make a precise calculation of the number of kilowatts per hour, we multiply the volume of kW by the number of hours in which we usually use the infrared radiant panel.
For example, if it will be used for three hours, we multiply 0.7 kW by 3, which means 2.1 kW.
- 0.7kW x 3 hours = 2.1kW/h
- 2kW x 3 hours = 6kW/h
This calculation is based on the formula Power x Operating Time = Energy Used and applies to all other electrical devices.
Energy is sold and charged on the invoice in kW/h, the amount being expressed in lei per kWh based on the electricity supplier's tariff. This value may vary depending on the tariff you opted for when concluding the contract with the supplier.
In conclusion, how much energy will be used? How much does an infrared radiant heating panel consume?
If you want to find out what the cost is as accurately as possible in the case of using a 2kW radiant panel, then you have to take into account the real value of the hourly rate in an updated format.
For example, if the tariff plan is 0.8 lei per kilowatt per hour, a 2kW infrared radiant panel will cost you:
* 1.6 lei per hour, which means
* approximately 9.6 lei per day, with an average use of 6 hours and
* 67.2 lei per week, depending on the tariff adopted by you.
