Instructions for using the UV lamp
CAUTION!
By ticking the box, you express your acceptance and the fact that you have read the INSTRUCTIONS and WARNING UVC lamps and assume responsibility for its use and application.
br- Keep the surface of the lamp tube clean at all times. Clean lightly with a cleaning pad soaked in rubbing alcohol at room temperature (25°C - 40°C), generally once every two weeks (or depending on how quickly dust settles in your area). Cleaning the lamp is necessary to prevent dust and grease particles from blocking the transmission of UV rays.
- Keep the room closed during disinfection. Ultraviolet rays cannot pass through thick surfaces.
- The lamp emits UV rays with a strong wavelength of 253.7nm or a short wavelength of 185nm (UV-C). Without the necessary protective measures, ultraviolet light will harm the human or animal body. Make sure that NO people or animals are present in the room during disinfection.
- Do not use the lamp with the ozone function near people or animals. Ozone has a coagulating effect on hemoglobin, which can result in reduced oxygen, causing dizziness and feeling sick. When the ozone concentration reaches ˃0.3 PPM (mg/M) it causes serious injury to the human or animal body.
- The quartz tube will wear over time, so the intensity of the ultraviolet rays will decrease. To prevent insufficient disinfection capacity of the lamp, regular tests of the beam intensity and finally replacement of the tube are necessary.
WARNING!
- To be used indoors only. Not to start when in the box.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Leave the room immediately after turning on the lamp to avoid damage to eyes and skin.
- Do not use the lamp in rooms with high temperatures or high humidity. Do not connect the lamp to power sources with different limits than those listed in the packaging in order not to damage the lamp and endanger your health and those around you.
- If the quartz tube shows scratches or defects it must be replaced. Do not disassemble the lamp. For repair or replacement contact the supplier.
- For your safety, connect the lamp to a grounded outlet.
